Upshot

I'm a choreographer, filmmaker, and creative coder living in Toronto. I also work freelance as a projection designer, video editor, and web developer. All the juicy stuff is under 'Biography'.

Lowdown

Premiering Always Be Closing, a solo for Catherine Larocque, Feb 9th thru Feb 12th at the Lower Ossington Theatre. Part of ‘At The Wrecking Ball V’. Tix $15 at the door.

Showing a beta version of Ego Echo, a responsive video installation, at the Dance: Made in Canada festival. Betty Oliphant Theatre, 404 Jarvis. Admission is free. Viewing times:

Wrapped production on my next short dance film, featuring Jenna Savella and Luke Garwood and music by the TorQ percussion quartet.

Designed projections for the remount of the Dora-winning i think i can. Toronto premiere April 7th (info!), then the NAC in Ottawa May 13th (tickets!).

Creating highly experimental Kinect projections for ‘The Calm Before…’, created by Malgorzata Nowacka and performed by The Chimera Project. 4:30 PM, Saturday, January 22 @ the Fleck Theatre. $10 at the door.

Workshopping Brave New World Redux at the National Ballet of Canada’s Choreographic Lab. Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th. Email for free (limited!) tix.

Created video projections for David Tomlinson’s amazing show Wingéd. Runs now through May 8th — come check it out!

Created and launched www.littlefilms.ca for Martha Burns’ anthology Little Films About Big Moments.

Premiered Lineage (Adagio and Fugue) at the Seoul Dance Festival in South Korea, with dancers from Chung Ang University.

Premiered Bastard Fugue at Fresh Blood : Thursday, October 29th, 8pm @ the Enwave Theater. Thanks to everyone who came for your support!

Entered the DFA’s Choreograph/Shoot/Edit in 48 Hours contest. Video is online.

Helioscape premieres at DANCE:FILM 09 in Edinburgh: Saturday May 23 11:30pm
